Child Care :
Reaching out to children with the love of God, bringing hope to the hopeless, and help to the needy. Giving children a fair chance in life, an opportunity to hope again and live out their dreams. Dominic World is hoping to also raise funds to build a Home for babies. Many babies lose their mothers at birth or not long after birth. These babies often die, due to lack of nourishment and care by their relatives. Ebenezer is already adopting a 7 month old baby by the name of Esther, until the Baby Home is built. We hope to have at least 20 babies in this home, where proper healthcare and parental care will be provided. Dominics World aims to support the social, emotional, educational and physical development of Guatemalan children living in poverty. At Dominics World we have adapted and customized our services in response to the changing needs of vulnerable children, young people and their families.

We Help:
  • children whose lives are affected by parental drug and alcohol dependency
  • young people who have social, educational and behavioural difficulties
  • children and young people who run away from home and are exposed to risk of harm
  • children and young people who have a disability
  • young children to experience positive parenting, play and early learning
Elderly Care :
At Dominics World our intention is to provide residential care for former orphans in their later years. It was also envisaged that retiring missionaries could make use of the home if they had no provision of their own.

Disabled persons of any age receiving community Medicaid services – including home care, adult-day care and prescription drugs – are now able to use virtually all of their income to pay for their living expenses by participating in a pooled-income trust. It is no longer necessary for consumers to contribute their “excess” income to the Medicaid system as a “spend-down.” The pooled trust is proving to be a popular planning tool for persons in need of long-term health-care services for whom the excess-income option did not work because it would not allow them sufficient.

Physically Chanllenged Care :
At Dominics World we are involved with the physically-challenged. The mobility impairment could be due to polio, paralysis, accident, amputation, birth defect, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, arthritis, stroke or spina bifida. Many NGOs provide counselling, early intervention, adaptive training, living skills training, vocational training, economic rehabilitation, social integration, aids & appliances
